French Bronze Art Deco pair of hunting prowlers by Michael Decoux

Very nice pair of hunting cats in bronze by celebrated prolific Belgian sculptor Michael Decoux (1837-1924) specializing in animals. The texture of the outside (its skins) looks like it could be a tiger or a cheetah. Hard to know, but the un-identical pair seem to be working and walking together on the hunt! This is a wonderful piece and of the highest quality bronze. Signed on the back leg Decous and "bronze" The base is beautiful shiny black marble. Lookout because these wild cats are going to find a nice home somewhere this side of the pond.
