French Art Deco Bronze and Marble Lamp by J. Lormier

A French Art Deco Bronze depicting stylized Art Deco nude woman holding a frosted globe. Cold patinated finish in excellent condition executed by J. Lormier circa 1930. Stunning double thick portoro marble base in pristine condition. Glamorous model with flowing draped cover, looking into etched glass light (of Daum quality). Exquisite sharp details to the face, geometric bobbed hair flowing, compliments the drape covering, Hands displaying the work of a highly skilled sculptor.

This important figure is reflective of a quality uncommon from bronzes and statues of this great Art Deco period. Statue is impressed with the artist’s signature in the draped bronze veil:  J. Lormier. The light works perfectly as seen in the photos.
