Vintage Film Poster "When We Were Two" 1930

An Art Deco Poster for the French Film ” When We Were Two” from 1930  starring  actors Alice Roberts and Andre Roanne.  This version for the Swedish Market has the bold lettering proclaiming “I Lust Oct Nod”  (in lust and nod), distributed by Aubert Franco-Films. Andre Roanne was a prolific actor, appearing in over 90 films and also served as an assistant Director.  Alice Roberts was a Belgian actress in the 1920s and 30s .

The deep colors, angular and stylized illustration make this an exceptionally dynamic pice.
