Established in 1830, Maison Christofle inaugurated its factory in Normandy, France. As it approached its 100th Anniversary , the company embraced a notably modern design direction, engaging talents like Christian Fjerdingstadt, the Danish artist credited with ushering Christofle into the Art Deco period. At the prestigious Paris Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, the company showcased its creations in a stunning pavilion and garden, shared with Baccarat, renowned for crystal and glasswork. This event propelled the name Christofle to international acclaim.
