1920s Art Deco Bronze Vase Signed by Carl Sorenson

Here's a wonderful 1920s Arts & Crafts/Art Deco bronze vase with a distinguished verdigris patina finish by renown metalsmith artisan Carl Sorenson. This vase is in wonderful condition and was most likely used to hold flowers which resulted in some surface pitting and wear on the interior of the vase. This smaller vase is the perfect size for a desk or bedside table and could be used in fact to hold desk items rather than flowers. Either way, this beautiful 1920s bronze vase, with its flared trumpet shape, horizontal banding and pedestal foot has the elegance and simplicity of more contemporary pieces. The vase is signed on the bottom in script, "Carl Sorenson" and stamped "bronze".
