Machine age aerodynamic streamline designed cigar cutter, chrome plated brass circa 1930's. Featuring three openings to accommodate a variety of cigar shapes. The push-down steel cutting mechanism produces both straight and v-cuts. It is small, yet has a great weight and balance. It was manufactured in Germany in the 1930's by Pfellring Solingen. It is stamped on the inside top edge  with name and model number #5640.

Looks like something designed by Norman Bel Geddes, utilizing the theory of streamlining. Example below.
