Jazz Age Coffee and Tea Set for Six by Royal Bourbon
A twenty piece Art Deco set by Royal Bourbon (division of Pearl Pottery). This set so fully interprets and embodies all the style elements of famous Bizarre Ware by Clarice Cliff but it is,instead, a rare and unusual set by a company that typically made conservative and much less dynamic ceramics.
The colors are so bright, with each piece rendered in six electric colors.abstract floral motifs and with shapes that are geometric , asymmetric and cubist.There are six cups and saucers, a tea pot, coffee pot, four cake plates, large "biscuit platter" and sugar bowl. All in excellent condition and a perfect way to really wake you up with a morning beverage.
