Roland PARIS (1894-1945) is an artist born in Vienna, Austria. He went to Berlin and studied with Henry van der Velde, co-founder of the Bauhaus school. His specialty was humorous, sometimes satirical bronze and ivory figures, often with exaggerated facial expressions. His works command high prices and are sought after by avid collectors.
