Art Deco period armchairs from France c. 1935 featuring a dark walnut frame. Freshly upholstered in Kravet green cotton velvet fabric and detailed with Samuel & Sons silk trim in double rows on the arms. The relief carving in the wood on the vertical arm support is a pair of leaves placed at a forty-five-degree angle to each other. The base of each front leg has a symmetrical multi-lobed foot that tapers to a circular finish. The seat back clipped corners have a robust architectural detail integral to the period of Art Deco.
These chairs would look great in your living room, den, and sitting room. This classic design is what helps to make Art Deco such a timeless period today.
