Edgar Brandt Art Deco table lamp with glass shade by Daum Nancy France circa 1925. Both the iron lamp “fer forge’ signed E. Brandt on the base, plus the Daum Nancy signed on the shade. Very desirable piece similar model shown in Joan Kahr, “Edgar Brandt, Master of Art Deco Ironwork,” Harry N. Abrams Inc. Publishers, New York, 1999, p. 114. Masterworks by Brandt are highly soft after and extremely collectible, as values continue to rise for the signed pieces.
