Airline 62-346 Art Deco Restored Tube Radio Bluetooth

Item #2670

TheAirline 62-346 Art Deco Restored Tube Radio Bluetooth was sold through Montgomery Ward, circa 1938. The chassis and cabinets were made by other companies like Belmont and Wells-Gardner and were well constructed with  popular cabinet designs. The Airline 62-346 was an early table radio sporting a “tuning eye” tube and the new “tele-dial” for easy tuning of stations. The six-tube, AM only radio plays well across the dials. All capacitors have been  replaced,  resistors and tubes checked and replaced  where needed. A safety fuse was added as well as a cable to plug and play bluetooth or digital devices of your choice.   The walnut cabinet has a beautiful “piano” finish with high quality tones, grain fillers and gloss lacquer.

Additionally, this radio has been fitted with an 1/8 inch adapter which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smartphone, iPods or record player. Access your old vinyl, or log onto Pandora, Apple Music or the playlist on your computer to provide the tunes and use the Bluetooth connection to bring the warm, bright, analogue sound of a tube amplifier to any music or recordings you choose. The quality of the sound is excellent – just ask any guitarist since these kinds of tube based amps are still being made and used today. You will have the best of “digital” and “analogue” combined.
