Henri Guingot Saint Clement France White Crackle Ceramic Dove. Circa 1930's crackle glaze craqueles. This piece like many of the great ceramic series of animals. The white crackle ceramic dove made by Henri Guingot during the 1930s is an example of his work for Saint Clement. It is a beautiful and delicate piece that features the characteristic crackled glaze that was popular in the Art Deco era. The crackled effect is achieved by applying a thick glaze that contracts and cracks during firing, creating a unique pattern.

Saint Clement pottery was known for its high-quality craftsmanship, and Guingot was one of its most skilled artists. The dove is likely a decorative piece, and it may have been part of a larger set of ceramic birds or animals produced by Saint Clement during the 1930s.
