Max Le Verrier Art Deco Sculpture of a Panther France 1930
Beautifully sculpted panther modelled climbing and leaning forward, looking keenly interested in what lies ahead. Alert and at the ready, this fine animal strikes a powerful yet elegant pose. Patinated in a lovely bronzed verdigris shade and so typically Art Deco on its three-tiered Berlguin black marble base. From the studio of the renowned French sculptor Max le Verrier (1891-1973), this is made in a superior grade of art metal and is in excellent original condition
