Spectacular sculptural Art Deco light with tangerine glass

I bet you have never seen this one before! European in origin, I was totally taken with this piece for many reasons, some more obvious than others. The over-all design is just breathtaking. The tremendous amount of detailing in the metalwork lets you know this was a limited edition not a production piece. Every aspect, every angle has something to say. The repeated faces echo the carved arms, base and canopies. It is so sculptural: imagine having a piece like this hanging somewhere in your house and in addition to giving you light, you can admire these really wonderful details. The tangerine color glass stepped tulip cups are also very special. They are a great contrast to the antique nickel finish.
