Grunow 700 Chrome Front Art Deco Restored Tube Bluetooth Radio

Item #2665 SOLD

The Grunow 700  has a chrome frontispiece  with a skyscraper Art Deco design. This is a  restored tube Bluetooth radio from 1934.  During this period it was considered a  top-of-the-line table radio . This is a seven-tube, two band, strong radio, that is  sensitive across the entire dial. The chrome detail  is in perfect condition with original knobs and grill cloth behind it. . The  Walnut wood case has been refinished with with nice marquetry on  both sides of the front face cabinet.

Additionally, this radio has been fitted with an 1/8 inch adapter which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smartphone, iPods or record player. Access your old vinyl, or log on to  Spotify,Pandora, Apple Music or the playlist on your computer to provide the tunes and use the Bluetooth connection to bring the warm, bright, analogue sound of a tube amplifier to any music or recordings you choose. The quality of the sound is excellent – just ask any guitarist since these kinds of tube based amps are still being made and used today. You will have the best of “digital” and “analogue” combined.
