Emerson 167 Art Deco Restored Tube Radio Bluetooth

Item #2669 SOLD

The Emerson 167 is a restored Art Deco 6 Tube Radio with  Bluetooth. The Unique Ingrahm cabinet was built in 1938. The clean chassis and  all waxed paper capacitors have been replaced by modern equivalents, the tubes and resistors have been tested and replaced as needed. This can receive local broadcasts loudly and clearly and has one shortwave band. A fuse line core and an audio cable have been added to plug and play your bluetooth or digital device. The cabinet, made of American walnut and maple and trimmed with Australian Laurel  has been expertly refinished  .The speaker, chassis and knobs are all original to the  set and a new dial cover and Emersonlogo  badge complete the restoration.

Additionally, this radio has been fitted with an 1/8 inch adapter which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smartphone, iPods or record player. Access your old vinyl, or log onto Pandora, Apple Music or the playlist on your computer to provide the tunes and use the Bluetooth connection to bring the warm, bright, analogue sound of a tube amplifier to any music or recordings you choose. The quality of the sound is excellent – just ask any guitarist since these kinds of tube based amps are still being made and used today. You will have the best of “digital” and “analogue” combined.
