Art Deco French Cubist Panther Sculpture by Notari

1930s Cubist sculpture of a climbing and growling panther on the prowl. Art Deco design with the artistic facet-like details are imaginative and convey a sense a strength, power and ferocity. This bold sculpture is in excellent original condition.  It is signed A. Notari at the tail. This panther has been shot with an arrow in his hind leg and is growling with pain. Cast in a white metal, resting on a multi-colored onyx and marble base: brown beige onyx top, black marble and cream onyx base sides and facing.
