Lux Bronze Statue of Dancer

A beautiful bronze statue of a dancer, signed by Elek Lux. This piece was crafted in Hungary during the 1930′s. Elek Lux (1884-1941) was an important Hungarian artist who created portraits and statues of female nudes. He taught sculpture at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest. Nine of his sculptures are in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery.
