Zenith Model 715 Tombstone Tube Radio Restored Bluetooth 1934

Item #3210 SOLD

Zenith model 715 “midget” style radio was introduced in the summer of 1933, a kind of cathedral-style radio (based on an Aug 1933 announcement in Radio Retailing). It was one of the series 700 radios referred to by Zenith as their new Challenger line. In September of 1933, this radio could be purchased for $49.95, complete with tubes, in the East. The 715 features shadowgraph tuning, introduced by Zenith the previous season and very similar to that used for certain contemporaneous. The 715 is an 8-tube ac-powered superheterodyne covering the standard broadcast band.

This will allow you an unlimited choice of content which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smartphone, iPods, or record player. Access your old vinyl, or log on to  Pandora, Apple Music, or the playlist on your computer to provide the tunes and use the Bluetooth connection to bring the warm, bright, analog sound of a tube amplifier to any music or recordings you choose.
